My Journey To Mexico

Image
First things first, Happy Birthday to my Hermanito Ryan!  Well last week we had our champions dinner and I had to summarize my mission in 10 words or less, and with 3 emojis. My frases was, " a time when I got to know Jesus Christ." And I chose (face with spiral eyes, man on one knee, soap) for my emojis. I was always confused, my mission was one long prayer, and I whitewashed in every area. For my last Pday I would love to receive a phrase of 10 words, and 3 emojies from every Rm describing their mission!  Honestly I'm feeling really weird right now, there are so many thoughts I have. I am now at the end of this 2 year journey. As many of you guys read, these last 2 years were definitely not what I was expecting. But know that I'm looking back I can see that it was exactly what I needed.  I'll talk about everything in my homecoming, so I would just like to talk about the one thing that mattered about my mission. Jesus Christ! I really can say that these 2 years r...

Eternal Heat

Image
Buenas tardes todos! I had a revelation this week of why I want to keep doing good. Well there is a lot of reasons, but one I would like to share comes from the 90° weather we have been having this month. I feel like I've tasted a part of hell, and if I'm not a good boy it's only going to get hotter, and more humid!  The heat has really been effecting us this week! I am constantly drenched in sweat, and the motivation to find has taken more out of me. But as the song says, "put your shoulder to thr wheel and push along!" That's exactly what we did this week! On Tuesday we had a lesson with Maggy, one of our Friends that we have been teaching! We taught her the plan of salvation, and she really liked it. We answered her questions! The best part was that she excepted a baptismal fecha! She has some real challenges that we have to face together, so please pray for her, so she can take this next step!  On Wednesday we taught another girl named Ester. She is awesom...

Last Zone Conference!

Image
Hey everybody sorry for not getting an email out last week! We saw a miracle that I'll tell you about real quick! We found this girl named Mary, we taught her about the Book of Mormon, and she just felt something super powerful, so she came to church with us last Sunday! It was amazing!  This week was good too. There was a ton of travel, but it was worth it. We went to Teziutlan for our Zone conference! Hna Day taught us how we can study the scriptures better, and it was super spiritual! I gave my champions testimony, and that felt super weird! I can't believe I'm done with Zone conference! It just makes everything more real. But the grind still goes on! After 6 hours of traveling, we finally got home. Saturday we had a beach activity for thr priesthood! We ate meat, and talked about God. It was really good! We also taught a lesson to a non member during the activity! It was super special. I also got to see a ton of my friends from Plaza Verde, because they came to the acti...

The Holy Land

Que tal todos! This week was really interesting, some might even say an adventure. So we will hop into it. But before shout out to Ryan for graduating Highschool! What a stud! Tuesday was a pretty normal day, we had some cool citas and everything. We were kinda just saying goodbye to everyone, because it was likely that my comps were going to leave the area. Well in the night the APs called me, and told me I had a zoom meeting I had to go to. So that night I hop on Zoom, and only my generation was on the zoom meeting. President then told us he was going to put us with people who had the potential to train, because there was not enough trainers for when we leave, and a group of 22 comes in. He also said some I remember liked. He said," you guys are good Elderes because early on in your mission you learned how to forget about yourself. Don't loose that this transfer. The next time you can think about yourself is when the lady on your plane asks if you want coke or sprite." ...

Last One Fast One

Hey everybody! I am alive, sorry for not sending an email last week. Trio life makes it hard to see the phone on Pdays. But here I am!  Tuesday was splits with an Elder that has been really struggling, so it was pretty heavy, but good. We went to his area and taught some good lessons!  Wednesday was really cool because we had a super cool lesson with one of our friends! He wants to get baptized! The only thing is that he isn't married, so we'll have to jump through that hoop. Teaching is by far the best thing in the mission! I love testifying about Christ! Also in the morning I had my district council. I spent a ton of time studying the BoM and coming up with questions for Jeopardy. I just love the book of Mormon! I have read 200 pages this week, And testify that it is the best, most correct book in the whole world! It just makes me feel the spirit! It is a book full of answers, and everyone should have one in their hand. Even the Lord himself gives a testimony of its divinity...

2 To 3!

Hey everybody, sorry this is a shorty I literally don't have time today! But I'll send pics. It has been a week packed with random things! Wednesday I got put into a trio with Elder Vázquez! He will be joining our companionship for 3 weeks!  Also we saw some miracles with a cool mother's day activity, and an activity we set up as missionaries! We also put another baptismal date with one of our friends Ana! She is the 4th ana we are teaching in this area!  I'll write more next week, but God is good, and very merciful! When we make covenants with him, he will NEVER leave us! I sure love all of you and will see you next week!  Xico!
