"I'm Not Gay Or Anything, But Dude Your Eyes..."

Buenas días todos! I hope everything this week has gone fantástico! The heading from this came from a really crazy inactive member, during a really chaotic lesson! But you'll talk about that in a bit. The rest of the week has gone pretty good. We still have been grinding the finding game, but we got some good people this week!      Miracle Monday was sweet! We ended Pday, and were headed to a Cita across town. It didn't feel right, so I told my comp that we should just keep walking(even though I had no clue where). As we were walking a kid named Edgar popped into my head with a strong impression that we needed to knock his door. We have been teaching him for a while, but he hasn't felt the need to be baptized. Anyway we go to his house, and he invites us in. At this point I was filled with the spirit, and knew that we were in for a good lesson! And I was right! It was super powerful! But he still was having some doubts. By the spirit of the Lord, I was being fed exactly w...

Transfers!

Buenos días todos! I hope all of your weeks have been incredible! This week was definitely 100% better than last week! There was no drama, or any problems. I also got a new companion, Elder Beltràn! He is from Sonora. He is fluent in English, but nice enough to let me practice Spanish. So we only speak Spanish! It's so fun! He is crazy strict which is awesome aswell. I don't really have to worry about Obedience problems with the Zone this transfer.  This week has been fire! I have a determination this transfer work like an Ox, and a comp who will push me aswell. With the Lod on my side there is nothing that we can't accomplish!      Tuesday was really crazy! I received Elder Beltrán, and then spent the whole day getting Elders to there apartments, and helping them with questions and concerns with there area. Then me and Beltrán went over the plans for the Zone.      Wednesday we got to work! We did about 50-60 contacts! We just plowed through the area ...

I Hate Chisme!

This week has been absolutely draining! Emotionally, Physically, and Mentally. Papantla is crazy! Chisme means gossip, and that has been the topic of this week. If I hear that word one more time I will explode! I was exited this week, because it was the last week of the transfer, so I thought that I could just grind the work, and set up my area for next transfer. Oh how I was wrong. I spent pretty much the whole week dealing with problems in the stake, or doing divisions. So I barely had time to work in my area. I also did see a lot of miracles, and tender mercys! I wrote 9 pages in my journal about everything that happened. So let's dive in.     Tuesday I went on divisions with Elder Triana after our Zone class. Zone class was a blast! We did a class on personality, and people skills. It was fun teaching the Zone on how to deal with different types of people. And then we read Alma 60, and explained how Pahoran saved all of Zarahemla just by writing a diplomatic letter to Moro...

President Perkins

Buenos diaaaasss! I hope everyone had a great week! This week for me has been pretty busy, but really good. I am in an area where members really watch every thing the missionaries do, just waiting to catch us do something dumb. This is really hard because my Zone has so many problems, so we have dealt with a lot of problems this week. And that is always pretty hard to watch. So please just follow the rules, it's so much easier for everyone, and you get more blessed for it! Also I saw my president more times this week than I have probably seen him my whole entire mission. He is a really spiritual man, and he also is super funny!      Tuesday I went on divisions with some Elders struggling in their areas, and that was an absolute blast! I was with Elder Hernandez, and we just got to work! We visited a family who was just awesome, so we put 2 baptismal dates with the son, and Grandma! After having a couple hard weeks in our area, it felt good to get to work, and see success ...
