A Lot Of Miracles, But No Time To Write!

Image
Wow this week was packed with miracles! I just wish I had time to write them all! But here are the highlights! Family of 5: the kids got baptized Saturday! It was such a beautiful ending to such a cool story. But man it took work! Friday a day before their baptism Samir called us crying saying he didn't know if he could give up coffee! But God softened his little 10 year old heart, and he made the sacrifice! Saturday came around, and as our friends were filling up the font, they released that none of the churches had water in Tezuitlan! 2 hours before their baptism we made calls, and got everything set up for them to get baptized in a little river/ eye of water! It worked out perfectly, and was a great baptism! Elder Terrones was so happy because it was his first 2! Sunday came around and they all came to church for their confirmation. In Elders Quorum, their dad shared his story of how he got baptized in Salt Late a long time ago. Then he shared how he had a dream that missionarie...

God Is Great!

Buenas tardes todos! This week was pretty heavy, but good! We saw some miracles! It was really cool, because this area has been kicking my butt, so it was nice to have a win! Tuesday was MLC! I love going to Xalapa because I get to eat my hamburger, and Dairy Queen! But this MLC was really good, we talked about a lot of mission problems, and came up with ways to solve them. Hna Day also talked about unity. She said that unity is a natural blessing when everyone is living righteously. I really liked that quote a lot! When just a couple people start being disobedience the first thing that goes is group unity. We can see that in 4th Nephi! But when everyone is doing there part, unity comes very naturally. Wednesday was a little annoying, there has been some Elders in the Zone that have been doing dumb things, so I had to give them a call. Then after that one of the Elders that live with us got really sick! There is a bug going around, so a lot of us haven't been feeling the best. I th...

Honestly this week has been pretty hard. I have been really busy every night dealing with things, so I am really tired. But it's all good, it's part of the mission.     Wednesday was wacky this Black girl from Texas walked up to us and started talking about how she was a descendent of the brother of Jared, and how she knew the history of Lehi. I asked here how she knew these things, and she told me she was the Book of Mormon. I knew tuings was going to get weird, and she did! She has the sealed portion of the Book of Mormon, and other testaments of the Bible, and this stuff that she sent to us. But while we were talking to us a bird just nailed me with poop! It got all over my back. Maybe she's a witch?! Thursday I went on divisiones with a struggling companionship. They're both awesome Elders, they just don't get along. I really enjoyed the divisons, and tried to  help this Elder see his comp differently. Well we had an inventory after the divisiones that lasted ab...

Que tal todos! This week was awesome! We had some cools highs, and a disappointing Sunday. But all is part of the circles of life so it will work out for good.  Monday we went with Rodrigo, and he is so ready! He accepted to be baptized on the 18 of February! It is cool how much he wants to change his life, and be closer to Jesus Christ! The only sad thing is that he called us 5 min before church, and said he couldn't come. But next week! Tuesday was really fun as well we played basketball with the family of 5, and all of their friends! There was like 7 of them there, so we got some good references! They were all good, so the games were fun as well!  Wednesday I went to Altotonga for divisiones with Elder Arredondo. He is a stud, we had a really fun time. We taught such a spiritual lesson together it was cool! Y while I was gone Elder Terrones went with the family of 5 and Samir, and Janny told him they wanted to be baptized on the 15th as well! It was a great day!  Frida...
