Hola, Hola! I am going up to Xalapa today, so I do not have a lot of time to write. So let's dive in!     I LOVE THIS AREA! It is incredible! Number one my house is nicknamed the mansion, because it is really big, and pretty sweet. The house is on a cliff, so the view is undesirable! Papantla is just so pretty. It's all hills, so in pretty much hiking to houses everyday. But after we hike up a huge hill I love looking out, and just enjoying the moment!     The work is incredible! This area is so ready! We have so many kids who need to be baptized. We brought 2 of them to an activity, and put a different one on date yesterday! Also the members here are incredible! We spent the whole week with them! They walk around with us all day, showing us referencias, and inactives. There is just so many people!     My comp is also so sweet! Elder Armendariz works so hard, and speaks English! We leave the house at 11, And get back at 9:30 every day, it's incredible! I ha...

Bittersweet Goodbyes

Image
Buenos días todos!! This week was full of adventures, carne asada, and bittersweet goodbyes! This was the last week of the transfer, so P week for most of the missionaries. My comp on day one told me that he would work hard if he could do P week. So on Tuesday I decided to go on Splits with Elder Martínez for a couple days. He is in his training, and likes to work hard too, so we grinded the work her for 2 days. It felt so good to work as hard as I like to, and turned out very well because when we switched back Ayala was rested, and worked till Saturday!      Saturday was definitely a funny day. Elder Ayala is from the North of Mexico, so he loves carne asada! So when we switches back to divisiones, he wanted to throw a goodbye party for me, because we knew I would be leaving the area. I was for it, because I thought it was just going to be a chill dinner thing. But oh how I was wrong! He invited all of the district, Gladys family, Giselas family, and the bishops family! ...

Buckets And Baptisms

Buenos, buenos todos! This week was really good, but we didn't really have a lot of time to work in our area, so that was a bit of a bummer. That's not too important though, because the Gladys Baptism was incredible! I'll talk about that a little later.     Tuesday was pretty disappointing. We had a full good day planned, and I was so excited to work, but right before lunch I got a call from Tlapacoyan saying they needed me to interview someone in their area for his baptism the next day. The guy couldn't do a video call, so I had to scratch the whole day just to drive all the way to Tlapacoyan, and have him not show up for his interview. That was mildly irritating, but my comp found some really good fruit, so it wasn't a total waste.     Thursday we had interviews with President in Xalapa, so I spent 6 hours traveling. My interview was really good! President is just hilarious! I love him so much. After interviews, me and my comp went to the mall, and ate American bu...

WATER BALLON FIGHT!!

Image
This week we had a water drinking challenge that ended in a water balloon fight! It was a blast. This week we drove to Maricopa to be in the English Class there. As ESL leads, we're in charge of leading all the english classes in the mission. A new website just went up for our mission for the life help programs. It's really cool and it will help a lot of people!  This week our ward had 9 non members at church! Most of them were from the Elders were splitting with, but we knew all of them and were super hyped when they walked in! Life is good, the Book of Mormon is true.  Until next time, Hermana Ebbert

I Love Mexico!

Buenas días todos! This week was pretty good, and full of service! Me and Ayala spent a good amount of time painting with a member! It honestly was really relaxing, I love painting houses! But let's get into the week!     Tuesday we did divisiones! So I went to Tlapacoyan, with Elder Jimenez! He is awesome, so we had a ton of fun! But we had a cita with a Jehovas Witness, and it was honestly pretty fun. It wasn't that productive, but it was my first time Bible bashing, so I enjoyed it a lot. After that cita, we headed to a random city on top of a mountain! It was so cool, and probably the prettiest place I have ever seen! So we did some contacting up there, and called it a night. But the taxi ride down the mountain was incredible! It was so pretty, and I was just in heaven, watching a gorgeous sun set, riding down a mountain with the wind on my face! I LOVE MEXICO!      The next day we ended divisiones, and went to visit our friend Jose Luis, and his family! The...
