My Journey To Mexico
First things first, Happy Birthday to my Hermanito Ryan!
Well last week we had our champions dinner and I had to summarize my mission in 10 words or less, and with 3 emojis. My frases was, " a time when I got to know Jesus Christ." And I chose (face with spiral eyes, man on one knee, soap) for my emojis. I was always confused, my mission was one long prayer, and I whitewashed in every area. For my last Pday I would love to receive a phrase of 10 words, and 3 emojies from every Rm describing their mission!
Honestly I'm feeling really weird right now, there are so many thoughts I have. I am now at the end of this 2 year journey. As many of you guys read, these last 2 years were definitely not what I was expecting. But know that I'm looking back I can see that it was exactly what I needed.
I'll talk about everything in my homecoming, so I would just like to talk about the one thing that mattered about my mission. Jesus Christ! I really can say that these 2 years really have just been a journey to know my Savior, and learn what it means to be yoked with him. He really is everything, without him nothing has meaning or purpose, there is no hope, happiness, or joy. Every principle of this gospel is just another branch on a tree, but the real seed is Jesus Christ, and his Atoning sacrifice. I have loved my mission because I have become so close to the Master. I can really say that I have excepted Christ as my Savior. I have seen the enabling power of his last sacrifice. I know he is the reason, and source for the extreme joy I have felt in my mission. When all of Satan's tricks, and smoke cover the world, all we have to know is that Jesus is the Christ, believe in his sacrifice, and follow his commandments. Nothing more matters when Christ is in the center. I love My Heavenly Father, and am a follower of his Son.
Just remember Jesus is the Christ, and his gospel is the path to happiness! I will see all of you real soon!
