Half Way There!
Hey everyone I am half way through the MTC! And I can not wait until I am out of here. This week was honestly really rough. And nothing too fancy happened MTC wise. I started making stop motion videos again, to pass the time. My comp said I should start making Book of Mormon ones. He was right, so I made one with Teancum, because I think he is really cool. He is the Seal Team Six of the Book of Mormon. So if you guys have any Ideas of what video I should do next let me know.
As you guys know the MTC is my nightmare. I struggle paying attention to begin with, so having to pay attention in Spanish is really hard for me. I also don't like useless meetings, but in the MTC we have about 2 of those a week, they are called workshops. In a nutshell, workshops are an hour of talking about how to safely use social media. They used to drive me nuts, but I found a way to make them interesting. Every workshop for the last 3 weeks have been pretty much the same. And the same people comment every time too. Like without a doubt I know who is going to comment. So I have been recording who comments, how long there comment is, and what there comment is about. This is how you know I am bored, because this gives me so much joy. Anyway this Elder who comments every time, gets up AND DROPS A FIVE MINUTE COMMENT! I'm not making this up, he talks for five minutes straight about social media, and how most missionary's use it wrong, so we should do what he does. It is so funny to me, and I really don't know why. Five minutes is a youth talk. I'm pretty sure I can tell you everything I know in five minutes. Enough on that though, it just blew my mind.
On a more exiting note, yesterday after I watched this power devotional Elder Holland gave, on how missionary's need to use the spirit in everything they do. Me and my mom went up to the park where Owen was going to propose to Liz. Like ninjas in the night we stealthily snuck down to where Owen and Liz where. It was a tender moment watching my brother ask the love of his life to spend eternity with him. family's are eternal, and yesterday made me exited for the both of them to have that.
I wouldn't say I am thriving, but I am trying to be as optimistic as I can. I know that when I have the spirit of the Lord with me I am blessed. I can't really see those blessings right now, but I know they are there. The Lord keeps his promises, and that is who I have faith in, so I know everything is going to work out. God is good, and that is all that I really care about. I just have to keep doing my part, and I’ll be rewarded. I hope you guys can see his hand in your life. Because I know he is there and he loves you.
