No Matarás

Buenos, buenos. Life has been good and busy. This week was full of fun stuff! The only thing is we keep finding people not in our area.

 

 

We taught Eliel (the guy who had a dream about the restoration) this week. And it went really well! He also brought 5 more of his friends to our appointment, so we have been finding a lot of people in Alamo. But president gave us permission to teach the people in Alamo, so that has been fun, but difficult. We honestly are going to just hand them off, because it is so hard to get people to church, especially when they are not in our area. And also our area needs a lot of help too. Another cool thing happened this week too. We got a text from this guy that we called saying, " I am investigating your church, and every time I read the Libro de Mormón I feel peace. Please teach me tonight." That was so cool! The only thing about it is he also is not in our area. So we taught him that night, and then passed him off to some really good Elders. He came to  church Sunday, and loves our church. So we were pretty happy about him. He wanted us to teach him again, and the other Elders were busy, so we did. While we were going to his house we were looking for a Taxi, and all the sudden one quickly pulled over. This woman starts speaking English to us, and tells us she was a member who served a mission years ago. She was inactive, but wanted us to work with her husband, and 9 year old kid. She also said if we ever need a taxi, call her taxi guy, and she will pay for us later. She was so kind, and wanted her kid to be baptized. But again she is not in our area, so we are going to give her a blessing tomorrow, and then pass her off to other missionaries. That's pretty much the story of my life here. A lot of people who aren't in our area.

 

 

But life is so fun out here, and Christmas time is the best. The only thing is that it's about 1200° here... in December. Kinda crazy. Anyway I hope you all have a great week! Mucho amor!
