Children Confound The Wise... And Also Pee On The Floor In The Middle Of A Lesson!

Buenos días! This week was absolutely incredible!! My whole mission has been guiding me to slowly get better, and better. This week was no exception! I've had a lot of feelings to change, and be a bit stricter on some of the tiny rules, and I have seen massive miracles from it! As I reflect on the last 8 months, I can see the Lord guiding me to be the missionary he knows I can be! I can truly say that this work is the best, and that I am the happiest I have ever been in my life! Now on to the week!

On Tuesday I went on divisiones with Elder Galaviz (my Zone Leader) to interview his investor for baptism. He is literally one of my favorite people on the earth, so we had such a good time! But he just got back from the leadership council in Xalapa. He told us that President was happy that we hit our mission goal, but he wasn't to happy with our zone. We only had 2 baptisms, when Martinez de la Torre usually has a lot more. So literally in front of all the Zone leaders President called our Zone Martinez de los Muertos( a dead zone). So he is feeling the pressure this transfer. And this made me crazy motivated to! I just want to work as hard as I can, bring souls to Christ, and help out the zone. So after that I have been going really hard, and I can't describe the joy I have! Even when it's 95° with 70% humidity, I love being out side doing the work! Also Vianca had her interview that day as well, and passed! She couldn't be baptised Sunday because of some things that came up. But for sure this week she will be baptised! I am so pumped about her baptism. She is so ready! And also we have started teaching her aunt who absolutely loves us and the Bible! She loves our word, but the only thing she is hung up on is Baptism for the dead. Kinda funny. Also I found  the book, "Jesus the Christ" in English in the apartment of Galaviz, and that book is incredible! I just want to read, and study all day sometimes!

Children confound the wise! We have been teaching the mom of a kid named Ethan. Ethan is awesome, and has been going to church with the bishops family. So the mom was interested in seeing why her kid was so happy. That's were we come in! We had an incredible lesson with this Mom, her name is Gladys. But as we taught, the spirit was so strong! We finished the lesson, and she started telling us how she'll be talking about a problem she is having, and Ethan her kid will just say, " well have you asked God about it?" And after he will teacher something about prayer. She told us that he has been teaching her about so much of this gospel, and our beliefs! The kid is 7 and not a member, but his faith is inspiring. It's just a testimony to me that we really need to come to Christ as a little child.

On Saturday I had a pretty cool spiritual experience. We had a lot of our lessons fall through, so we were contacting in the street. And we talked to so many people, but nobody was interested, or honestly being nice. Elder Sanderson has a tough time with rejection so this was putting him in not the best mood. Rejection usually doesn't bother me, but today it was just excessive. So I said a prayer knowing God has prepared someone for us to teach. We were walking down this street, and I was about to turn left, when I felt prompted to go straight. So we left the paved road, and walking on this little dirt road for a bit contacting every creature we say. So we keep walking and this house stands out to me, but it was higher up on a dirt mount, so as we passed it, I could see if anyone was home. I asked Sanderson if he saw anyone in that house. He didn't, so I kept walking. But then thr spirit hit me, and said STOP! You've passed it, it's that house right there. So I tracked the house, and this Kid comes out saying, "You finally found my house!" A month ago we contacted this kid named Isai, and that day we found his house in thr middle of nowhere. The Spirit is good! So we taught Isai a super spiritual lesson, and invited him to be baptised! He accepted, and loves the BOM! It was a miracle. That same night we get a call from 2 Elders in my district saying that a 2 investigators that missionarys have been teaching for ovet 2 years want to get baptised! The Elder that told me that spent a transfer in my area, and is super tight with these two investigators. As they told me that, we walked to the house of the investigators. Every Saturday night we eat dinner with them. So as we get to this family's house, we see the two Elders that called me. They just decided to go to our area for the day. Also there area is about an hour away from our area, so being there district leader I wasn't to happy to see them, and by the way there faces changed when I walked in thr room, they weren't to happy to see me. Anyway it gets close to 9:30, so I ask then wear they are staying for the night, and they told me there just going to go back to there area an hour away. I told them there going to stay with us that night. So me and Sanderson are leaving so we can get back before 9:30. And they said there going to stay for a bit longer. My mind was blown! What are you thinking! Any way I had to get back, so Me and Sanderson headed back before 9:30, expecting them to follow, but they weren't kidding. They stayed for a bit longer. So I told them to get back before 10. Anyway that night I had to talk to them, and I scared them pretty bad. But as DnC says show an increase of love, so I did that too. The whole time I want mad or angry, I was just so frustrated because I had to act mad, and discipline. I hate doing that! So the moral of the story is don't be dumb, because someone who doesn't want to deal with it will have to.

As I have said above, we have been going hard! And church was a great reminder of that! We had 10 investigators come to church! I was so happy! There was only like 32 people there, so to have 10 be nonmembers made me really happy! Also on Sunday, we had a family home evening with 5 kids, so I planed to an activity, and brought candy so they wouldn't be board. Anyway we do the activity, and the lesson is going great! We are out in like the patio area of this members house, teaching about the spirit. All the sudden thr youngest kid who is about 2, just drops his diaper, and pees all over the place as if he was a dog. So obviously me and Sanderson just loose it out of shock. It was so random, but so funny!

This week really has been full of miracles! And living the gospel is just so amazing! I love my job! God is everywhere, and just wants us to come him, so he can heal us. In really not sure what is coming, but conference assured me that if I'm going to have a happy life, it needs to be a life centered in Jesus Christ. And I need to be follow the Example of Ethan, and be as a child. Anyways! Love ya all, and hope life is going good for you! If it's not I promise it will, if you turn to the gospel of Jesus Christ!
