A Special Bond

Hey Kaycee! How are you doing? I know things haven't been the easiest for the past while. I just wanted to email you, and let you know how much you mean to me. I know I'm all the way in Mexico, but I hope you can feel my prayers, and fasts for you. You have always been such an amazing Aunt, and a better friend! I always loved when Mom would pass out the shirts you would send us from cool distant lands. I would put them on the second I got them. I also loved when you would watch us when our parents were gone. One memory I have in specific is when Mom and Dad were in Hawaii. The Sunday before they came home, I remember swinging on the swing by you, just talking while we got hit by little drops of rain. I'm not sure how old I was, but I have always enjoyed talking with you. You are such a good listener, and have always made me feel special. The best weekends growing up were the ones when you came down. I remember you would take me to target, and get me my favorite blue slushy! I also made my first left hand turn, on a big road with you. It was Owen's farewell talk, so I drove with you to get you your coffee. You are such an incredible Aunt, and I  hope you know I am cheering you on through this battle! On my mission I have had many experiences with family angels helping me when times are tough. I have no doubt in my mind that you are being watched over from both sides of the veil! I also testify that God is aware of you, and he is walking with you through every step of this trial! I love you this much, so nothing can come between us.

This email is so special to me you have no idea. My heart is so full of love. I cherish you more than you can ever imagine. These memories - how sweet and what a perfect time to be receiving some extra love. I remember all this like it was yesterday and hold these memories close to my heart. It was such a treat to live with you when you were born and it is a great joy in my life being your Tia! You have always been my special buddy. And even as a little kid you've been one of my favorite people to talk to. You have such an ease about you that is unique and is why you are loved and adored by all who meet you.

 

 

I am sorry I have not been more in contact or supportive during this time on your mission but you are with me always.

 

 

Yes I feel your prayers! Keep them coming - they are working. I too have felt our family angels with me during the toughest of times on this journey - and I know they are with me always during the hard and the easy days. I feel them supporting me and giving me the energy I need to keep healing this cancer. I have faith that I will be made whole and that my body is recovering. Yes it has been really tough lately but with each trial I receive great lessons and even more blessings. There is fear all around me but in my heart I feel love and that is the most important. 

 

 

I look forward to seeing you and hearing all about your mission stories and sharing more of our wonderful life together. I am proud of you. I love you. I am grateful for you and your friendship.
