Gods Plan

Que pasa calabaza! I hope everybody can feel the Halloween spirit today, and eat to much candy! Also feliz cumpleaños to my angel of a Mother! I am so blessed to live and be raised by someone who is so Christlike, and good! Thanks for always teaching me how to make the right decisions, and sharing the light you have with me! I literally could not be a missionary if I wasn't raised up by such a good Mom! I am literally convinced that you are an angel from heaven! And anyone who knows you will back me up on that! Words can't describe how thankful I am for you! Happy Birthday!

 

 

This week was also really good! We have a new Zone, with a lot of missionaries. So we have been really busy running around trying to help them. It's been a blast! I am really excited for this month. Last month we tied for the Zone that has had the most baptisms, so im looking to win this month! Saving souls is a blast! 

 

 

Tuesday was pretty crazy! We were planning the week when we suddenly get all these texts from Keidy(our friend that is literally a member without baptism because her mom won't let her.) She was freaking out because of a dream she had. So we asked her what happened, and the dream she shared with us was pretty creepy! In the dreem she was with us, and then we left. As soon as we left she heard a demonic voice. The voice kept telling her that she knew who he was, but she didn't. So she asked who it was. This is were it gets creepy. The voice said that he was Baal-Peor. In the dream she almost saw him, but she called us, and when we came in the room the voice instantly left. She woke up crying because she was so scared. But the creepiest part is that she had no clue who this guy was, so she looked up his name. Bottom line, he's legit. He actually shows up in the bible. So we set up an appointment with her, and gave her a blessing. Nothing has happend since. She is getting baptized in November, so it's interesting how Satan attacks us before we make decisions to follow Christ. There a little story for the spooky season!

 

 

Wednesday was very helpful! We went to Centro to eat. One the way back we went to a members house to ask for references. He took us to this house were there was a family with 3 kids that were not baptized yet! That was such a miracle! So we are going to work with this family! 

 

 

Thursday we had splits. I went to Espinal and helped Elder Lara with the area, because it has been closed for 2 transfers. It was a good time. 

 

 

Friday I got back from Splits, and went right into Blitz. Blitz is where 2 companionships go into one area and work. We went to Voladores because they are in a white wash. So we worked there, and helped them out.

 

 

Saturday was sweet! We had a sweet lesson with a girl named Sherey. We taught her the plan of salvation, and then invited her to church. She excepted! And went! But sadly our Sunday sacrament meeting was a disaster! Nobody was ready, or had anything organized! There literally wasn't bread for the sacrament, so we used Pan Muerto. It was really cringey. It was to the point were im not sure she wanted to come back. But I hope she felt something that will help her want to keep coming.

 

 

This week has been really fun because everyone has been getting ready for Dia de Muertos. And so we have had so many opportunities to teach the plan of salvation. Because everyone has been wondering what really happens after death. Literally every single lesson I have taught has been about the plan of salvation. I didn't know it at the time, but God was preparing me. As some of you know my Aunt Kaycee passed away on Saturday. We were close, so it took me by surprise. But God is good, and he has had me bare my testimony about his plan all week, and what really happens after death. So I know that Kaycee is in the Spirit world right now, with my Grandpa, and other members of the family that have moved on from this life. And I testify that it isn't something devastating, it is something beautiful. Because this is not the end, it is only a small part in Gods plan. And thanks to Jesus Christ, and his sacrifice I will be able to see her again. And I will be able to find peace in Christ while we are separated by the veil. But the best part is that when the time is right Kaycee will receive a perfect body through resurrection! A body that will not be changed down by disease, or sickness. I testify that God loves all of his children, and for that reason alone we have this perfect plan of hope! He is here to comfort us during these hard times, and through his son Jesus Christ we can find peace. I love you all, and hope you all have a happy Halloween! And for my family, I promise that you are not left confort less. God is with you. And as me and Kaycee always used to say. I love you this much so nothing can come between us.
