In For A Ride

Hey everbody, this week has been absolutely crazy! I have traveled a total of about 17 hours just this week! Yesterday I was just so tired and sick from the week that I crashed at 8 in the night! I feel a lot better now, so it was worth it!

Monday I went from Papantla to Xalapa, to pick up my kid! I stayed the night with some friends so it was sweet! Then Tuesday in the morning we went to the Stake Center to pick up our kids. Presidente Day gave some really good talks, and really emphasized the importance of training. There is already a huge difference between him and Presidente Perkins. It's pretty cool to see it. But after the talks I received my kid! Elder Terrones! He is from Chihuahua, like all of my comps. He is really cool, and such a great missionary! I really got blessed with him, because I have so many extra  responsibilities this transfer, so he is going to help me out a lot! After the conference we all headed to our areas. Teziutlan is sooo cold! But really pretty! Our area is sweet! What I didn't know is that we have 6 missionaris in the Branch. 2 sets of Elders and 1 set of Hermanas. It's honestly makes it hard to share the work. This is my 5th white wash in an area, and it is by far the hardest one I've done! We literally only have 2 people in our area book, and they're both not interested. We've got work to do!

Wednesday was our first full day in the area, and honestly it was really hard. I have to train my kid, but also our Zone is really problematic, and there are 20 Elders in it, so I have to really focus on getting everything I need to done. I'm banking on the help of the Lord! If he can feed 5000, he can help me do everything I need to. Wednesday night me and Elder Martinez(the other ZL) found out we had to go to Xalapa again on Thursday for MLC on Friday.

Thursday we had district council in Teziutlan, which is about 1 hour from our area. It was really good, I love the Elders in our district! From there we went to the ADO to travel to Xalapa again.

Friday was really good! MLC with President Day was incredible! We solved so many problems, and he showed us stats from the past 6 months to really show us what we need to focus on, and how we can baptize more converts! We then ate pizza, and went back to Teziutlan.

Saturday we got to work, found some people, and had a good time. But honestly we are up to the normal missionary grind. It's been kinda weird being in a new area after 6 months of Papantla. I felt a little home sick for the people there if I'm being honest. But time will fix that problem, the members here are sweet! They have already helped us out a lot!

Sunday was okay, we had some good lessons and figured some things out with the ward. The only thing is that I got sick. I had a little fever, so it was a bit miserable. But I went to bed early, and now I feel great.

It was quite the week. I'm honestly really interested to see how this transfer will go. I really hope I can do everything I need to. I just have to be on my knees, and Heavenly Father will help me. I sure love you all, and hope you see God's hand in your life!
