Surprise!!
Buenas tardes todos! Thanks again for all of the birthday wishes, I really did appreciate them! Honestly this week wasn't to eventful, just kind of the missionary grind. But it was still really good!
Tuesday we had splits! I went with Elder Gallo one of my good friends, and we stayed in his area. We got lost a lot, but had a really good time! He is such a great missionary! For Lunch he took me to a really cool restaurant that had a super pretty view! Then we spent the day looking for references! It was a great time!
Wednesday we ended divisiones, and ate in a cool little city! Last time we were there, there was a really big house that we contacted for fun. They actually let us in, and we taught them a little lesson. We'll Wednesday we went back, and had another really good lesson with there family! They really like the Book of Mormon. It's a grandpa, mom, and daughter! It was a sweet!
Thursday was pretty sad at first, all of our lessons canceled, so we didn't have anything. But we then got invited to do service! We painted a lady's store, and she was so happy! She then gave us 2 references! It was awesome!
Saturday we had another service project in the morning, we took out so many weeds, and shoveled rocks! My back is still really dead from the service, but it felt really good! The family isn't baptized yet, we are just waiting for them to get married. After we had some citas and a normal day. Then in the night we went to the Branch presidents house to do more service. So me and my comp walked in, and there was 2 cakes, and food on the table. They all came out and sang to me, and then they shoved a cake in my face, because that's Spanish tradition. It was super nice of them, and made me happy.
Sunday we had transfer news. Pretty much the whole Zone is getting white washed, because nobody last transfer left. I'm really excited! My house is staying the same, I'll finish out my comps training in the house of 4. I'm pretty excited! It should be a great transfer!
Not a lot happened this week, but I'm still grateful for the Lord, I really just want to get going this next transfer. There is a lot of work to do! God is good, and wants us to believe! I love you all, and hope you have great weeks!
Elder Mitchell!
