"Solo Quiero Paz Man"
Honestly this week has been pretty hard. I have been really busy every night dealing with things, so I am really tired. But it's all good, it's part of the mission.
Wednesday was wacky this Black girl from Texas walked up to us and started talking about how she was a descendent of the brother of Jared, and how she knew the history of Lehi. I asked here how she knew these things, and she told me she was the Book of Mormon. I knew tuings was going to get weird, and she did! She has the sealed portion of the Book of Mormon, and other testaments of the Bible, and this stuff that she sent to us. But while we were talking to us a bird just nailed me with poop! It got all over my back. Maybe she's a witch?!
Thursday I went on divisiones with a struggling companionship. They're both awesome Elders, they just don't get along. I really enjoyed the divisons, and tried to help this Elder see his comp differently. Well we had an inventory after the divisiones that lasted about 1:30. It was long and tiring, but the companionship got things figured out, so that's what matters.
Friday we had a cool lesson at the rehabilitation center! They are all so cool there, it makes me really happy to see the changes some of them are making. Some sad news is that Rodrigo the guy there that went to church and was going to get baptized blocked, so we have no clue what happened with him.
All of Saturday we were traveling. An Elder in our Zone sadly had his dad pass away, so we went and brought him Little Ceasars, and talked for a bit. You would think he be devastated, but he is so positive about the whole thing. It was really inspiring to talk to him, and see the faith he has to keep going in the mission!
Sunday was pretty sad as well. We went to pick up the kids, but they were sleeping, and there dad wouldn't wake them up to come to church. So they didn't go. Luckily the Dad went, but it was hard coming to church without them. Then that night we went to a mission pump up meeting with all the youth in the Stake. I stood in the stands and answered some questions that the youth had. It was pretty fun.
That's about it for the week, this area has been really kicking my butt. I can't seem to find anyone who is willing to progress. I've just got be more obedient, and rely on the Lord and it will come. God is still good, and I'm thankful for what he has given me. We are also going to Xalapa today for MLC, so hopefully that can help me get some new ideas. I love you guys a lot and hope your weeks go great!
