¡Ana's!
Buenos dias mis estimados Hermanos, Y Hermanas! This week was so much better than last week in the aspect of work! And also I really love Xalapa! Its so pretty, and very nice. Very different from all the other areas I've served in.
El Martes:
Tuesday was awesome! In the morning we had an amazing lesson with a lady named Ana! The spirit was so strong during that lesson! She just ate up the restoration! When we gave her the Book of Mormon she asked us how much it was. We told her the word of God is free, and she broke down in tears of gratitude! She is the sweetest!
El Miércoles:
Wednesday morning was really fun! Los Days invited us to eat breakfast with them! It was really fun, I love being with them. They had us right a list of things we wouldn't have if Jesus Christ didn't exist. My list started to just become a list of gratitude, because we would literally have nothing! Everything we see, have, and can have is because Jesus Christ! He is the plan! He is the guy! We are nothing without him! It was a cool activity. Then we ate and talked. I ate so much food! President Day is trying to fatten me up before I get home. Later that day we went with another Ana that we know who has been taught for a long time by other Elders. We taught her about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and she decided to take the step in getting baptized! It was so cool to see her change her mind when the spirit touched her heart. She has some economic problems right now, and said she couldn't go to church because of the cost of taxies. When we explained that with every sacrifice comes a blessing, she lit up, and changed her mind. Sunday came around, and she came with us! She even brought her daughter!
Saturday came around, and we had another lesson with the first Ana I talked about! As we taught her about the gospel she asked us if she could be baptized again! We obviously told her no!.... Sike! We planned the day, and finished the lesson full of the spirt! Sadly something broke in her house last minute, so she couldn't come to church. But next week!
Life is amazing, y Dios es grande! This week I started the Book of Mormon again, I'm trying to read it two more times before I leave the mission. This time I have a new copy, and am marking everything that points to Christ! I have loved this adventure! I finished 1 Nephi in 2 days! Christ is everywhere in that book! Like the book he is also everywhere in our life's, we just don't see it a lot of the times. That is the biggest thing I've learned! I love Jesus, and am so happy to serve him! I hope you all have greats weeks, and love you all!
