Xalapita

Buenas tardes todos! This was really different! I have come to learn that Xalapa is a whole new ball game! I have never been in a big city like Xalapa before, so I am figuring things out still. But honestly it is really sweet! I am in one of the most prettiest city's in the world! Also I am in the richest area in the mission! So we get fed really good! It's a blessing! I also have Dary Queen sitting on the corner of were I live! That is another blessing! But the most ironic thing about Xalapa is that I have always joked around saying that I didn't want to go in Xalapa because President is there. Well... He is in my area haha! He said he would invite me for milkshakes, but I am still waiting for the promise to be fulfilled haha. But I honestly love it here it is really cool, and the people are very rich, but really cool! Also my new comp Elder Sánchez is really relaxed so it's really fun being with him. I think I'll enjoy my time here!

Monday night I was a little rebel, and was out in the streets till like 10:30. It was super fun, but also a bit stressful. What really happened is that there were some Hnas that missed there buss, so they came to Xalapa at like 9:45. President called us to see if we could escort them to there house safely. I was in a trio, so we had to take 2 separate taxis. We asked our taxi driver to follow theres. Well not even 5 minutes passes when our taxi driver just took a different way and stopped following them! So we lost them for like the whole ride. Luckily when we got to the house the other taxi driver pulled up with the sisters at the same time! Blessings! They got home safely, and we made it to our house safely. I was with 4 of my best friends that night, so we had a blast just pillow talking!

Tuesday came around, and we went to Presidents house to pick up our kids! President told me im here in Xalapa so he can fatten me up before I get home. He said it was a joke, but I don't think he was joking haha. We had our presentations, and I got Elder Sánchez as my 3rd Hijo in the mission! Like I said he is way chill, so we have a good time!

Wednesday I gave my district class, and then we had an appointment with a girl that cuts hair! It was really a good lesson, and my son was happy to teach! The rest of the day was just trying to learn the area, and find. All my areas have been White Washes, so im used to the grind. 

The rest of the week was tough! Literally all our citas canceled on us! It was sad. We went looking for memebers, but they were to busy to meet with us this week! Its tough to get to know the members here because they all give us money for lunch, or send us to a restaurant. And then Sunday was Stake Conference, so we didn't get to know a lot of them. But  the members we do know are sweet! 

It's definitely a grind, but I'm excited! We have pizza hut, and Sam's club in our area! And this week we filled the calender with citas! We'll be praying they do they dont cancel! But life is good here! And God is amazing! He blessed us with some miracles! And he'll help us find more! I'm sure about that. I sure love you guys a lot and hope life is going well! God is good, and loves you all so much!
