Oh Hello There

Hey everybody, I hope you all have had a great week! Sorry for the short email last week, I'll write a good one today! This week was super, and busy! It made me happy to finally see the ball rolling in this area!

Tuesday was a super busy day! We had a lesson in the morning with Guillermo! He is a stud! He loves the Book of Mormon, and actually lived in the Holy Land for a month. We taught him the plan of salvation and he loved it! Then we ate, and went with Tita! I love teaching her because she needs Christ so much in her life. After that Cita, we made our way to the hospital to take out number 11, and 12 of my ingrown toenails I've had in the mission. I'm pretty much a pro now, and have spent half my mission in my sandals. I get really chatty when I'm in pain, so I made friends with all of the doctors there, they're really nice! The doctor that actually took out my nail was pregnant! After, we rushed to a Noche de hogar we had that night, and it went well. We then headed home, and at 9:30 finished the night with a lesson on the phone! It was crazy!

Wednesday was busy as well, we had a district leader meeting in the morning, and then district council afterwards. An Elder saw I was in sandals, and thought it would be perfectly okay to grab my toes. Well he pressed his finger right on the wounds. It did not feel to good. After the council, we had a cita with a gray point in the area book(those who are not interested). Well we get to the house and this woman opens the door and lets us in. She proceeds to tell us her story. 3 years ago she contacted an old friend who happened to be a Mormón bishop. He gave her a book of Mormon, and started teaching her some of our beliefs. She then proceeded to show us her book full of notes, and wonders! She was preparing for conference this week! She then turned to us and asked, "what do I need to do to be baptized?" It was a pure miracle! So we gave her the information, and thanked the Lord for the miracle after we left her house!

Thursday we did an interview with the ZL, and found out it was free cone day at Dairy Queen! Blessings!

Conference was incredible this week! I love the focus on Jesus Christ! The first 2 talks blew me away! It was incredible finding answers to questions, and watching a ton of inspired men talk about God! The only sad part was,  that no one came to church this week. That was honestly really hard to see after working so hard this week. But like Conference said, I just have to push forward with faith!

God is good, and he really does know us individually, and perfectly! Jesus is the Christ, and his atonement is the most important thing In the world! I couldn't be a missionary without it. All the success I ever have had in my mission had nothing to do with me, and everything to do with Christ, and his atonement. I testify of that. He does amazing miracles out of weak things. I am a weak thing, but I have seen amazing miracles, and have done the impossible thanks to Christ and his atonement. I love you all so much, and hope you have a great week!
