Wandering Like Moses

Buenos días todos! This week was good, but a bit tough. All of our people that we are teaching were out of town, so we did a lot of wandering like Moses. Even though it was a bit tough we saw some miracles, that was such a blessing!

Tuesday is always are best day. We had a lesson with Guillermo, and Tita! Tita said she would give up coffee, and went to church! That was incredible! She is progressing super well, and I really hope she will take the step of getting baptized! Guillermo loves the Book of Mormon, but still doesn't want to go to church. We've gotta figure that one out. Also today when we were going to the food, a lady stopped us and gave us a huge thing of Costco popcorn! It was incredible!

Wednesday through Thursday was just the normal missionary grind, really nothing interesting happened.

Friday we were walking and this creepy girl came up and started talking to us. I felt really uncomfortable, but she gave us her number, because she wants to learn English. Well it turns out we already had her number in our phone. The conversation she had were super weird, so we blocked her. Saturday was a good day, we had a lot of lessons! On the way home I contacted a guy from the church, "Luz del Mundo." He was a missionary for 3 years, so we had an interesting lesson. From my knowledge they are a Mexican break off of our church. So they believe in the restoration as well. I left him with a Book of Mormon after the chat. Then we got dairy queen! Also President Day will be proud, according to the scale in the buss station I am 162 pounds! Progress!

That was about it for the week. Honestly this week was a bit of a struggle at first, and I couldn't figure out why I felt pretty down. I did some research, and I figured out it was because my prayers hadn't been the best. I made the changes I needed, and just like magic, I was back to normal! Prayer is so powerful, but a lot of times we take it for granted. But I testify that with a true sincere prayer we can view life in a different but better way, and feel the spirit of God more powerfully in our life! I love you all, and hope you never forget to pray!
