Just Come To Church

Hey everybody! This was another good week! We had our ups and downs, but the goal is to just endure to the end with a lot of faith!

Tuesdays usually are the days we teach all of our friends, but sadly Guillermo canceled on us so we just taught Tita. Tita is so ready to receive the gospel, and loves how she feels when she is with us. Her only problem is church. She hates going because we don't talk enough about Christ, and she feels sad, and bored every time she has gone. It's a tricky situation that we are still trying to figure it out. God is good, so I just have to trust him.

Wednesday we had interviews with President! We always have a nice chat, I love President Day! He asked me 4 questions. Have I read the BoM front to back? Do I have my own testimony of its divinity? Am I able to baptized every month? And finally, will I baptized every month? He went on to Explain that all these questions are a sequence, and that we cannot help other people come unto Christ with power and authority if we havent read, or have a testimony of the Book of Mormon. I have learned to love the Book of Mormon on my mission! It is by far the best book I have every read, and just fills me with the spirit every time I read it! I invite you guys to answer the first two questions, and see where your relationships is with the Book of Mormon! I bet it is very similar to where your relationship is with Christ! All the Book of Mormon talks about is Christ and how we can come closer to him, so if you want to see him more often in your life, read the Book of Mormon every day! That is what I have learned out here!

Friday was Zone Conference, and like always it was really fun! We talked about finding, and increased faith! I've been really thinking how I can increase my faith. Hna Day talked about how the Brother of Jared before he brought the rocks to God, heated them up so hot that they were molted. He did everything he could by his own Knowledge, and strength before he received Godly power. I liked that a lot, how can we molt our rocks, and receive more Godly power in our lives. President also said that we need to expect miracles, but miracles are anything but free! They always come the last hour, so it's important to be diligent in our callings. It was very inspiring, and insightful. The Days are awesome! After the conference we taught lesson one to a new friend, and she seemed to love it. She told us we just look like we are closer to God then the Jehovah's witness. It was a random comment, but made me laugh.

Saturday we went with a friend who got back from her month vacation. She found out her mom was a Mormon, small world! We taught her the Plan of Salvation, and she just lit up! We invited her to be baptized as well, and she gladly accepted! Please pray for Ana! She is so good, but of course on Sunday didn't come to church! After our lesson with her, we went to set up our activity we were holding at the church! Suddenly it started to rain really hard, and thunder. I knew at that point not a lot of people were going to show up. When it gets cold here, Mexicans do not leave their house for anything! Luckily we had a couple people show up, so that was a blessing!

Sunday was sad. Literally all the 6 people who told us they were coming to church today just didn't. It's really a pain getting people to come to church here. Sunday felt like a beating from the humility stick. Literally everyone we are teaching just saw our messages, but didn't respond, or just completely ignored us. But that's the mission sometimes. I just have to be push forward, and put my faith in God. Things always seem to work out in the end.

That was my week! It was pretty good besides Sunday. God is really good, I just need to invite more of his power in my life through an increase of faith! I hope you all read the book of Mormon, look for Christ in your life! I promise the 2 are inseparable! I love you all, and hope you have fantastic weeks!
